Bio

Bo-Xun Lin is a Taiwanese-born film composer, orchestrator, and sound designer based in Vancouver, Canada. Raised in a household steeped in classical music, he began learning violin under his father — a retired violinist of the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra — and found his way into professional composition through amateur arrangements and student film scoring starting in 2013.

His early career was shaped by a close working relationship with composer and music supervisor Vanros Kloud (V.K), for whom he served as arranger and orchestrator on major Chinese productions including the epic fantasy television series Ice Fantasy (2016) and Summer's Desire (2018). The Ice Fantasy Original Soundtrack, to which he contributed, received a Golden Melody Award nomination for Best Recorded Instrumental Album.

Driven by his dedication to the craft, Lin completed a Master of Music in Screen Scoring at NYU Steinhardt from 2017 to 2019. Following graduation, he trained in Los Angeles alongside composers Anton Sanko and Solo Wang, contributing to productions including the Freeform series Siren (Freeform is a Disney-owned network) and the FOX/Disney drama Memory Eclipse.

His game music work spans titles including Rayark's Cytus II, Soul of Eden, SEGA's CHUNITHM, and the acclaimed indie RPG Word Game — where he co-composed and arranged alongside producer Triodust. He is also a staff composer and orchestrator at KUSHIH, a sound studio founded in 2024 by Triodust, with whom he continues to collaborate on game audio, film, and interactive media.

Since November 2024, Lin has been composing for Supercell, contributing to Clash Royale — including seasonal menu and battle themes — from the Spirit Empress season onward. He is also credited on the OPUS: Prism Peak original soundtrack (2026), released by SIGONO.
